KrX Clear Peel is a 30% salicylic acid with added antioxidants, like Green Tea. Salicylic is a comedolytic (inhibits the formation of comedones), desmolytic (dissolves the bonds of dead skin cells), and anti-inflammatory agent. Unlike AHA's, which are water soluble, salicylic acid is oil soluble. This allows it to penetrate into the pores to help exfoliate and clear excess sebum and debris from the pore, and this is why salicylic acid is particularly helpful when treating acne.
